Rebecca Baah-Ofori has seven years of teaching experience. Before joining UPSA, she worked as Communications Officer at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research, University of Ghana, Legon. She has also worked on a number of part-time research assignments for the Media Foundation for West Africa.
Rebecca believes that the aim of teaching should be to provide students with the confidence and skills to thrive in their chosen fields of learning. She also believes that the classroom is the space for not only acquiring academic knowledge but also for acquiring valuable life skills. As such, she stresses the need for her students to espouse integrity, respect, punctuality and hard work in their academic pursuits.
Rebecca is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ghana. Her teaching and research interests are in the areas of Public Relations, Development Communications, Advertising and Health Communications.
