Biography

Robert Amponsah is an assistant Lecturer for Digital Marketing, Social Marketing, Marketing Leadership Planning, and Integrated Marketing Communication at University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). Prior to this, he was a lecturer at Marshalls University College and Harley Reed Ghana Limited, where he tutored students for the Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications. He is currently researching in the area of Entrepreneurial Marketing, Digital Marketing and Media, Market Research Technologies & Strategic Marketing.

He has also worked as a Senior Consultant for International Business Group Ghana and Softtribe/BSL for their award-winning project, "Heijulor." His expertise cover Strategic Planning, Business Planning, Business Intelligence, and Consumer Research.   Robert combines specialist knowledge in both marketing and market research to deliver key market insights for tactical and strategic business planning and due diligence within the private sector. He has been a led in executing marketing, media and consumer research projects for a number of companies including: L’Oréal West Africa (Dark & Lovely and Maybelline New York brands) Promasidor Ghana, Millicom Ghana-Tigo, UNICEF, and Newmont Ghana Gold Limited.

Robert has also worked with companies such as Marketing Strategist for Execution Entertainment Limited, Research International and TNS Research and Marketing Services Ltd (TNS-RMS) as Research Executive, with PZ Cussons as in-charge of Marketing Research and Media, Dannex Pharmaceuticals as Operations Manager and Managing Partner with Equatorial Consulting Limited, Client Service Executive for Controller and Accountant Generals’ Department.
