Biography:
Thomas Yaw Tachie-Eyiah is a professional chartered marketer (CIM UK) and academic with considerable experience in the field of Marketing. He joined the UPSA’s Faculty of Management Studies, Department of Marketing as an Assistant Lecturer in September, 2012. He is currently the lead lecturer in Tourism Marketing and Elements of Marketing Courses. He has also supervised a number of students at the undergraduate level and the professional marketing programs at UPSA.
Mr. Tachie-Eyiah has worked in a number of industries in Ghana, Nigeria and the UK, including, the defunct Ghana Airways Ltd, (Nigeria office), Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT Accra, and Tesco PLC (UK). He has also consulted for the private sector organisations in Marketing, Tourism and International Air Transport Association (IATA) Advanced Fares, Ticketing and Reservations.
In the field of academia, he has taught Tourism Marketing and Elements of Marketing courses at the undergraduate level; Principles of Marketing and Marketing Research at the diploma level and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK) professional Marketing, professional Integrated Marketing communications and professional Marketing research diploma programs in Ghana.
