The Dignity of the UPSA SRC Restored

CONGRATULATIONS ON ANOTHER MILESTONE IN THE STUDENT FRONT

..Indeed unto whom much is given ,much is expected.

Memorability is an essential part of achievements, unfortunately the carnal mind does not respond quickly to positivity but negativity is greatly reacted to as if it is catalysed.

Let’s not go far, the 24th of December, 2018 will forever remain a memorable one in the lives of the ordinary student of UPSA.

This day saw the UPSA SRC Constitution officially being passed at the last general assembly of the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.

The General assembly which is the highest decision making body of the students has finally been reconstituted with RT. Honorable Derrick Kumi as the speaker of G.A , as he is being deputized by Honorable Wisdom Atiako and Honorable Daniel Addo being the clerk of the house.

We can unequivocally state that, the constitution has been the greatest topic of discussion over the past 2 to 3 years.

By way of education, the constitution represents the embodiment of the SRC and the powers of the SRC. By the act and perseverance of many selfless individuals, our power has been restored.

We would like to commend the committee that saw to the drafting of the constitution, led By Hon. Emmanuel Dogbatsey appointed under the then President, H. E. Sidney Quartey, for a great job done. We would also want to appreciate H.E Justice Gadugah led administration for also taking steps in ensuring that the constitution is passed.

Now, to H. E. Terrick Nii Obodai Torgbor, under whose administration, the constitution has been passed, we say ayekoo, for your hard work and persistence in seeing to it, that the struggle commenced was never in vain. We commend you once again, for showing true leadership and consistency. We hope for much more successes in the student front.

Long live UPSA SRC
Long live the Student Interest
